Warsaw Is Preparing To Transfer To Kyiv 45th Military Aid Package

Poland is preparing to transfer to Ukraine the 45th Assistance Packet. This was reported by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk during a telephone conversation with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.

According to the press service of the head of the Ukrainian state, the president thanked the Polish people for solidarity with Ukraine from the first days of the conflict with the Russian Federation and expressed personal gratitude to the Prime Minister for his fundamental reaction to the last Russian missile strikes.

Zelensky and Tusk discussed the continuation of defense cooperation between the two states. Tusk said that Poland was preparing for the transfer of the 45th support package and has already begun work on the next defense package.

We also talked about expectations from the presidency of Poland in the EU Council in the first half of next year.

Zelensky expressed hope for support from Poland in the negotiation process with the European Union to open the first negotiation cluster and in parallel – others.

The Head of State thanked the Prime Minister for the use of his vast personal contacts to support the membership of Ukraine in NATO and further provision of defense assistance. Leaders agreed to activate personal communication and hold a meeting until the end of the year.
