After working out the tasks of the marine stage of the exercise, the ships returned to the port of the Chekhbehar of the Islamic Republic of Iran, where the summaries and closing ceremony will be held, the Russian department noted.
The Russian side on the teaching is represented by the corvettes “Sharp”, “Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov”, as well as the medium marine tanker “Pechenga” of the Pacific Fleet.
International Naval exercises “Sea Safety Beard – 2025” are held for the seventh time. The organizer of the exercise is the Iranian side. For the first time, these maneuvers were held in the Arabian Sea in 2018. This year, 15 ships, support vessels and combat boats, as well as marine helicopters were involved in the exercises. The purpose of the exercises is to ensure marine safety, counteracting piracy and terrorism at sea, as well as the protection of marine communications.
