US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau met in Washington with Abdulaziz Kamilov, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Uzbekistan.
According to the US State Department, the American side again confirmed the firm support of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Uzbekistan.
emphasized the further strengthening of strategic partnership between the United States and Uzbekistan.
Deputy Secretary of State Landau praised the efforts of Uzbekistan to deepen bilateral cooperation, especially in the areas of civil nuclear energy, critical minerals, as well as in wider economic and investment interaction.
The diplomat also expressed appreciation for the sustainable cooperation of Uzbekistan in counteracting illegal migration and terrorist threats.
