Washington And Yerevan Discussed Peace Process In South Caucasus

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed satisfaction with the coordination of the text of the project of a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan.

According to the US State Department, the head of American diplomacy emphasized the importance of a strong world to break the vicious circle of regional conflicts, ensuring security and prosperity in the South Caucasus.

The interlocutors also discussed the strategic partnership between the United States and Armenia, emphasizing the unacceptability of any escalation in the South Caucasus.
