Russia will not trade in oil and gas with countries that will introduce the ceiling of energy prices, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in an interview with the Russian media.
According to him, this position of Russia, voiced by the president of the country Vladimir Putin, remains the same.
At the same time, Peskov noted that there are nuances in this matter that requires finalization. In addition, Russia is studying the numbers that are voiced by the authorities of the Western states.
Peskov added that Russia is guided by its own interests and will not “shoot itself” in the case of the introduction of energy prices in the West.
Earlier it became known that most of the European Union states agreed with the ceiling of the cost of Russian oil at $ 65-70 per barrel, Poland insists on limiting $ 30.
