Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi on Sunday, February 5, went to the city of Hoy to visit the districts of Urmia in the northwestern Iri, the IRNA reports.
“The solution of the problems of residents affected by the earthquake in the city of Hoy is the debt of the government and the authorities of the country,” Raisi said, promising the victims from the natural disaster to monitor the solution of problems in the near future.
On January 29, an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 occurred in the city of Hoy in the province of West Azerbaijan in the north-west of Iran. As a result of the earthquake, 816 people were injured, three died.
