West cannot all the time to offer Moscow negotiations and the olive branch and introduce large-scale economic sanctions in the case of “continuing escalation” of the situation around Ukraine, the head of the European Council Charles Michel, speaking at the Munich Security Conference, reports TASS.
“The concentration of Russian forces around Ukraine continues, we do not see any signs of de euros. We cannot forever offer an olive branch: if the escalation continues, large-scale sanctions will be introduced,” Michel said.
He also expressed the opinion that Russia was trying to “divide the West”, but “achieved the opposite effect, the simulation of the EU country, transatlantic allies [USA and Canada] and partners around the world,” including Japan.
