According to Haqqin.az, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora, Elshad Aliyev, spoke at an event with a detailed report covering the activities of the structure in 2018-2022. According to E. Aliyev, at the current important stage, the bringing to the public of these countries of the prevailing new Azerbaijani realities is of great importance, updating the further strengthening of the diaspora.

The activities of the Coordination Council in Latvia received a positive assessment, a vote was held on the election of a new coordinator. As a result of voting, the young activist Kamran Amanzade, who was educated in Latvia, was unanimously elected to this position.

Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Lithuania Tamerlan Garayev in his speech emphasized that the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission will continue to provide assistance in bringing Azerbaijani realities to the Lithuanian public, promoting culture and history of Azerbaijan.
