It turned out that people suffering from a dental disease in a launched form are three times more often dying from coronavirus. We are talking about periodontitis – this is a disease of the fabrics that surround the teeth in the mouth.
In the running form, periodontitis causes a “cytokine storm” – a dangerous immune response. With it, it produces an excessive amount of immunocompetent cells in the human body, which fall into the lungs, causing a rapid deterioration of the state resembling symptoms of sepsis.
Also possible with breathing, which in the presence of coronavirus is especially dangerous.
