A meeting of the Public Council was held at the Ministry of Emergency Situations, dedicated to the activities of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergencies.
The press service of the Ministry said that the main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the activities of the civil service in the direction of ensuring fire safety in Azerbaijan, including conducting educational measures to disseminate knowledge in the field of fire safety, as well as upcoming tasks.
The meeting was attended by the chairman of the Public Council Fuad Hajizade and other members of the Council, the deputy chief of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies for organizing work with regional centers, the design management and educational issues Gunduz Khamzaev, the head of the public relations department Pyarviz Dzhafarov, deputy head of the State Fire Service Colonel Agshin Kyazimov and employees of the civil service.
Speaking at a meeting, Agnish Kyazimov informed in detail about the work carried out by the institution he presented in the direction of ensuring fire safety in the country and the upcoming tasks. It was noted that the State Fire Service in accordance with its powers holds fire safety measures at strategically important oil and energy facilities, social facilities, transport, etc., ensures that compliance with the requirements of the norms and rules of fire safety of designed, built and located In the operation of buildings, in educational and healthcare institutions, at commercial, administrative and industrial facilities, it conducts great explanatory fire safety work, organizes district seminars-meetings and conferences in connection with ensuring fire safety in the field of agriculture, as well as in forestry masses .
members of the Public Council, in general positively evaluating the activities of the civil service, noted the importance of joint work with relevant institutions in the direction of fire safety. During the meeting, members of the Public Council also expressed their proposals on fire safety issues.
