The director of the Russian Guard Viktor Zolotov awarded the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov with the departmental medal “For the combat Commonwealth”, Russian media reported.
The award ceremony was held in Grozny during the opening of the property complex to accommodate personnel of the management of private security and riot police “Akhmat-fortress.”
Zolotov arrived to participate in the event in the Chechen Republic.
On December 22, Kadyrov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded him the Order of Alexander Nevsky. According to the head of Chechnya, he was awarded a reward for a great contribution to the socio-economic development of the republic and an effective solution to tasks with important state significance.
In October, Ramzan Kadyrov was awarded the title of Colonel General of the Russian Guard.
In the amount of Kadyrov, is the owner of several dozen awards. In 2021, he was awarded the Order of Merit to the Fatherland, III degree, in 2006 – the same Order of the IV degree. In 2003, he received the Order of Courage.
In addition to other awards, Kadyrov received in different years the medal “For the Return of Crimea”, “In memory of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg”.
In 2005, he received the Order of the Chechen Republic – named after Akhmat Kadyrov. Kadyrov also awarded the orders of the hero of the “DPR” and “LPR” and the medal “20 years of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, and many others.
In 2016, Kadyrov said that in 2006 he was awarded the title of Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences RAEN for activities to restore peace in Chechnya, noting that for him this is the “best doctoral dissertation.”
