“When time comes”: Erdogan about his relationship with Assad

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan allowed the opportunity to meet with Bashar Assad and revising the relationship between Ankara and Damascus after the presidential and parliamentary elections, which will be held in 2023. It is reported by TRT.

“There are no eternal grievances and discontent in politics. When the time comes, you can sit down, evaluate and make an appropriate update. Currently, we can revise our relations with countries with which we have problems on these issues. Especially after the June elections, when we can do everything again. And, accordingly, we can, I hope, continue our way in this direction, ”the Turkish president said in an interview.

He noted that now Turkey is also negotiating relations with Egypt and resolving issues with France.

“One of the most important questions with France with us is the SAMP -T (anti -aircraft missile system – ed.),” said Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
