The fighting in Ukraine will not end in the coming months, the coordinator of strategic communications in the National Security Council (SNB) of the White House John Kirby said at a briefing.
“We do not expect that in the next few months the Russians will raise their hands and stop (fight). As we already said a few weeks ago, we do not expect the fighting will stop in winter,” he said.
Kirby also refused to comment on rumors about the possible new offensive of the Russian troops, indicating that “he would not talk about their tactical designs.”
At the same time, a representative of the White House said that a different situation is developing on various sections of the Ukrainian front for the Russian military. According to him, “in places they (the Russian Acts) are attacking,” but “there are places where they are in a deep -aged defense.”
