The White House confirmed that the cassette ammunition that the United States transferred to Ukraine is already used by Ukrainian aircraft on the battlefield.
According to the White House strategic communications coordinator John Kirby, Kyiv uses cassette ammunition “effectively and properly.”
He stated this at a briefing in the White House.
“We received some initial reviews from Ukrainians, and they use them quite efficiently,” Kirby said at a briefing.
He added that cassette ammunition affects Russian defensive orders and maneuvers.
Kirby claims that Ukraine has begun for about the last seven days to use the US cassette ammunition.
