WHO Announced Beginning Of Vaccination Campaign Against Polio In Gas

General Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adkhan Goebreesus announced the beginning of the vaccination campaign against poliomyelitis in the gas sector.

Goebreesus reported this on the social network X, emphasizing that the WHO teams work in the field to ensure the effectiveness of the campaign.

“Vaccination against poliomyelitis has begun in gas,” he wrote.

Earlier, on February 19, the head of the WHO stated that the organization plans to launch a mass vaccination campaign on February 22 to cover more than 591 thousand children under the age of 10 years.

According to the joint statement of WHO, the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and their partners, mass vaccination in gas will last until February 26th.
