The World Health Organization allowed the use of an Indian vaccine from COVAXIN coronavirus. This was announced in Twitter.
WHO noted that the drug has an effectiveness of 78%, which is achieved after 2 weeks or more days after the introduction of the second dose. The organization also noted that the drug is suitable for countries “with low- and middle income due to simple storage requirements.”
Earlier, WHO also allowed to use vaccines from Pfizer / Biontech, JanSsen, two versions of the drug from Astrazeneca and developed by the American company Modern, Chinese SINOPHARM and SINOVAC.
