The head of the WHO shared information about the consequences of climate change on the social network X.

According to him, by 2050 up to 1.2 billion people can be forced to leave their homes due to climatic phenomena.

Goebreesus emphasized that the climatic crisis is a health crisis that affects the health of migrants.

“For this reason, we demand that the issues of the health of migrants be included in the declaration at the 29th conference of the parties (COP29) of the United Nations (UN) of the climate change and on future COP.
