General Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adkhan Goebreesus said that every seventh young man in the world is faced with mental health problems.
In his message on the social network, X Goebreesus noted that the problems of mental health affect every seventh young man around the world, and suicide is the third most important cause of death in the age group of 15-29 years.
The General Director emphasized that the recommendations of WHO and the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) show how every country can take steps to improve access to mental health and improve the quality of assistance for children and youth.
“I believe that these recommendations can inspire changes,” Goebreysus said.
