Disturbed by the World Health Organization (WHO) to cover vaccination against coronavirus until the end of September at least 10% of the population of all countries of the world is a “global failure”. This was written on Friday on his page on Twitter CEO WHO Tedros Adan Hebresus.
He recalled that in May of the current year, WHO has identified the task of achieving vaccination at least 10% of residents in all states of the world. “However, 56 countries did not do, although there were no guilt in this. Half of them vaccinated only 2%,” said Greesus. “The fact that the problem of vaccination is not completed 10% of the population is a global failure,” the general director emphasized.
The head of WHO believes that this breakdown should encourage the world community to “do everything possible” to achieve the two other goals set by WHO – coverage by vaccinations from COVID-19 at least 40% of residents of all countries by the end of 2021 and at least 70 % by mid 2022. “There can no longer be excuse and unfulfilled promises,” he stressed.
