Wife Of President Of Turkey Met With Special Representative Of UN Secretary General In New York

The wife of Turkish President Emine Erdogan met with the special representative of the UN Secretary General on the issue of violence against children Naja Maalla Mjid.

According to sources in the administration of the President of Turkey, the meeting was held in the fields of the 79th Session of the UN GA, Erdogan acted as the chairman of the UN High-level advice on zero waste.

During the meeting in the “Turkish House”, Mjid thanked Erdogan for the activities that the wife of the Turkish president has been carrying out since 2012 as part of the project “Hearts of Hearts”, aimed at providing a loving house for every child, devoid of family custody in Turkey.

Following the meeting, Mjid signed a “goodwill declaration of zero waste”, opened for signature at the 78th Session of the UN.

Emine Erdogan wrote on a social network that she informed the interlocutor about projects implemented in Turkey to teach girls.
