In Istanbul, the 35th intercontinental swim was held through the Istanbul Strait, organized by the National Olympic Committee of Turkey.
More than 2,600 people from over 70 countries of the world took part in the swim.

The winner of the swim among men was the Turkish swimmer Dogukan Ulach, who sailed in 41 minutes and 22 seconds.
The second finish reached the Turks Kerem Hoshger (43 minutes and 31 seconds), and Halil Shaisa (43 minutes and 44 seconds) was the third.
In the swim among women, the three winners included representatives of Turkey. Burdzhunaz Narin won (42 minutes and 54 seconds). The second became Hilal Zeynub (43 minutes and 59 seconds). The three closed Ada Lisa Chelik (44 minutes and 17 seconds).
