Winter is close: EU and NATO threatens disconnection

The European Union and NATO are afraid of the collapse of agreements on the support of Ukraine due to the energy crisis, the increase in food prices and the prospects for the economic recession. It is reported by CNN.

“In the European Union, everything will be very difficult, and at the same time we will have to adhere to our promise to cut Russia from any income from gas and other sources,” one of the European diplomats on the terms of anonymity told reporters.

Ukraine is increasingly difficult to draw attention to war, since European states are increasingly focusing on their problems.

“Perhaps that is why Zelensky said that he wanted the war to end before Christmas, because the real problems will be to force the West to fulfill its promises in the long run,” said Chatham House, senior researcher at the analytical center of Chatham Jiles.

“At first, the West’s reaction was tougher than Russia expected. Tactically, the Kremlin was mistaken in many ways. From a political point of view, it was quite easy to rally around Ukraine and justify the donation of weapons and money,” said CNN, a representative of NATO.

Now people have begun to get tired of the war and its support. There was a need to send more complex types of weapons to Ukraine, requiring more efficient training. These deliveries are hard to coordinate.

Europe faced with a decrease in the level of energy supply from Russia. Experts believe that the next few months will be the most difficult for European countries. People will feel a reduction in the cost of life throughout the continent. Some will have to make a choice between heating at home and food. Many will get tired of supporting refugees from Ukraine.

Politicians should very carefully choose a line of behavior in the near future, so as not to angry their citizens even more and give them the right answers.
