At least 15 military personnel died, 16 were injured as a result of a terrorist attack in the West Niger, the Ministry of Defense of the African country reports.
As noted in the department, the military personnel deployed in the Tillabury region was attacked by unknown armed people.
Tillabury area is located on the border of the three countries – Niger, Mali and Burkina -Faso.
This borderline is often attacked by terrorist groups associated with Al-Qaeda and Deash.
