World Championship starts in Baku with participation of 33 countries

Today at the National Gymnastic Arena in Baku, the 35th World Championship on trampoline and Tubling will start.

Competition, which will be held for the first time in our country, will collect more than 300 gymnasts and gymnasts from 33 countries. Azerbaijan at the World Championships will present Mikhail Malkin. Baku’s native is the European Champion of 2018 and the 2017 World Champion among young people. Mikhail will start performance tomorrow. And today there will be qualifying competitions in individual and synchronous programs in trampoline jumps in men and women, as well as in women in women.

at 09:45 the opening ceremony will begin, at 10:00 – the competition themselves. The World Cup will last four days and will end on November 21. Medals will be played in individual and synchronous jumps, in Tubling, double mini-trampoline, as well as in the team all-around.

Earlier on the national gymnastic arena, the European Championship and Numerous World Cups on Trampoline and Tombling were already held. However, the world championship will take place for the first time.

And from November 25 to November 28, the 28th World Competitions of the Age Groups on this discipline will be held in Baku, which are considered the unofficial world championship among children, boys and young people. 621 athletes from 32 countries are expected here. Competitions will be held in age categories 11-12, 13-14, 15-16 and 17-21 years.
