EX-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych who escaped to Russia filed to the district administrative court of Kiev another suit against the Verkhovna Rada demanding to recognize the absence of the Parliament with the authority to deprive the status of the president in another way except the impeachment. This was stated by the chairman of Rada Olga Sovgiry, “Ukrainian True” reports.
According to Sovgiri, the court has already opened the production in this case and appointed his consideration in a simplified manner – without a call to the parties and court session.
Recall that the Verkhovna Rada deprived Yanukovych status of the President of Ukraine by adopting on February 4, 2015 of the relevant law. The constitutionality of this law was appealed to the Constitutional Court, but in December 2019 it was decided to close the production of this submission, noting that this dispute was not legal.
