Former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych urged his compatriots to independently decide what they want – peace or continuation of the war. He stated this in an appeal to the nation published on Wednesday by his press secretary Yuri Kirasir on the page on Facebook.
The politician urged everyone who has constructive proposals that will give a chance to the world and allow you to save the lives of Ukrainians to save the future for their country.
“Today, more than ever, an adequate assessment of the situation and respect for the most diverse opinions of citizens of Ukraine are required. Citizens themselves must make a choice – to fight” to the last Ukrainian “, or try to save what is still left,” Yanukovych believes.
The politician called the current power in Kyiv “inexperienced and adventurous”, noting that there can be no talk of any unconditional trust in it, even in the absence of alternative sources of information.
