The Minister of National Defense of Turkey Yashar Guler holds an inspection in Hakkari.
The statement published by the ministry reports that the Minister, accompanied by the chief of the General Staff General Metin Gyurak, commander of the naval forces of Admiral Erjueta Tatlyoglu, commander of the Ground Forces of General Selchuk Bayractaroglu and the commander of the Air Force, General Zia Kadioglu, went to Khakkari.
The statement says: “The minister’s plane landed at Yuksekov Airport. Then he went to the command of the Mountain Rifle Brigade in Hakkari.”
According to this information, having received detailed information about the situation in the area of the Penche-Kilit operation, Minister Guler gave specific orders regarding operations.
