Yemen expects a breakthrough in relations with Ankara after re -election to the post of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. About this in an interview with “Anadola” (aa) said Foreign Minister Yemen Ahmed Avad bin Mubarak.
“We are completely sure that in the coming period, relations with Turkey will gain momentum, and we will witness the deepening of cooperation and integration in various fields,” the minister said.
According to him, this will lead to the rapid rapprochement of countries against the background of historical ties between the peoples of Turkey and Yemen.
The diplomat on behalf of the government and the people of Yemen congratulated the Turkish people on the successful holding of parliamentary and presidential elections. He emphasized that during the vote, Turkish citizens again confirmed their trust in the current head of state.
noting that the position of Turkey supporting the legitimate government of Yemen is very important for the legitimate authorities of the country.
Ahmed Avad Bin Mubarak also touched the future device of Yemen. He noted that recently there has been an intensification of peaceful efforts to resolve the Yemenic crisis undertaken at the regional and international levels. “However, this advance is faced with intransigence, trading and blackmail from the Husites, whose extremist ideology and their rejection are all recognized by many today,” the minister stated.
The diplomat emphasized that the Yemen government supports any steps that will lead to a fair and comprehensive world in the country on the basis of agreed recommendations. “The world will not come until the Husites are disarmed and their dominance and the destructive role in Yemen and the region are stopped,” he warned.
Mubarak also commented on the topic of the exchange of prisoners between the warring parties – Husites and the Yemen government. He emphasized that the country’s legal authorities approached this process based on the fact that each of the prisoners is the “son of the Yemenian people.”
According to him, the government of the country is striving to ensure that this process takes place without delay.
