Yerevan: protests again. police detain opposition

In Yerevan, protests continue. Today in the morning, protesters, requiring the resignation of Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan, blocked the Kyiv bridge connecting the city center with the southern and southwestern regions of the Armenian capital.

Trucks and concrete mixers lined up on the roadway of the bridge. The participants in the action in this way were paralyzed by traffic on one of the most loaded transport arteries of Yerevan. Special units of the Red Beret police, who tried to open the movement for cars, were arrived at the place, the Armenian media reported.

A similar situation in the Bagramyan Avenue – the flyover is blocked there, as well as on the Davitashen bridge. In the area of ​​Bagramyan Avenue, the detention of participants in the shares of disobedience began. There are brawls and small skirmishes between law enforcement officers and demonstrators. Some activists were placed in police car carriers. The participants of the action chant “Armenia without Nikola”.
