Atomic energy should remain outside the political situation. This opinion was expressed by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova, commenting on the press release following the results of the nuclear energy summit in Brussels.
The Russian diplomat noted that in the West they “love to say that everything that happens under their leadership is historical, global and exceptional”.
However, according to her, experts immediately see that the “historical summit” failed.
“On the eve of the world media, they talked about the fact that, following the results of the Brussels summit, a” global “document – a joint declaration. Loud promises turned out to be a zilch: a press release does not mention any declaration, apparently, it simply does not exist,” – wrote Zakharova in her Telegram channel.
At the same time, the diplomat believes that the organizers’ decision not to call “key states of Eurasia, which are engaged in a peaceful atom at a global level”, including Russia and Iran, predetermined its failure.
“Those who sincerely want to promote the development of atomic energy are required to understand that it should remain outside the political situation,” the diplomat summed up.
Terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall
In addition, Zakharova said that the Russian side would conduct a thorough investigation of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall and will not give the organizers the reason for its organizers to “cling to some inaccuracies”.
“We understand that the stylistics and facts confirming the previous actions of the Kyiv regime, which stands the West, may obviously run into the corresponding conclusions, but we must still wait for the investigation results. According to her, Russia will draw the relevant political conclusions based on the established facts.
