The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Russian peacekeepers are successfully fulfilling their mission in Karabakh, contrary to the recent statement by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikola Pashinyan, Russian media reported.
According to her, Russian peacekeepers do everything to stabilize the situation in the region.
“Russian peacekeepers fulfill their mission. It is Russian peacekeepers who do everything to stabilize the situation, and they do it. Therefore, such an attitude towards our peacekeepers is not accepted,” Zakharova emphasized.
We note that earlier on Thursday, December 22, at a government meeting, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said that the Russian peacekeeping contingent temporarily posted in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan does not fulfill its mission.
