The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova suggested that the representative of the US Embassy in Moscow appeal to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for “explanations on grain transaction”.
Zakharova wrote about this in her Telegram channel.
“We want to fulfill the second part of the Black Sea initiative package agreement. Everything that is recorded on paper is certified by the UN Secretary General. If the information of the Russian Foreign Ministry is not enough, then the representative of the US Embassy can contact the Foreign Ministry for additional clarifications,” Zakharova noted Zakharova .
Earlier, the coordinator of the US State Department of the State Department, James O’Brien, said that Moscow “must be clearly made to understand what it requests” to resume the “grain transaction.”
July 22, 2022 in Istanbul in the presence of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UN Secretary General Antoniu Guterrish, an agreement was signed on the safe transportation of grain from the ports of Ukraine.
Signatures under the document were made by representatives of Ukraine, Russia, the UN and Turkey.
The agreement that is realized during Turkey coordination is aimed at resolving the global food crisis.
The first ship with grain was left from the Odessa port of Ukraine on August 1, 2022.
