The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, on her Telegram channel, spoke about the gift of the Azerbaijanian needlewoman, which she put on the eve of a briefing – brooches in the form of a Russian flag.
“I am asked about the tricolor on the lapel of the jacket, in which I was at a briefing today. Someone even considered that this is an embroidery. This brooch – made by the hands of the Azerbaijani craftsman at the request of our compatriots, is a gift from the ministers of the Cathedral of the Holy Holy Cathedral of the Most Holy Theotokos in Azerbaijan, ”said Maria Zakharova.
She added that recently the gift was handed over to her on behalf of the parishioners the abbot of the temple Father Anthony.
“The whole world is embroidered with a tricolor bead. It is the warmth of our compatriots, their love for Russia, kindness and sincerity. I will wear it by the heart,” concluded Maria Zakharova.
