On May 31, under the leadership of the Minister of Defense of Colonel-General Zakira Gasanova, a service meeting was held, the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Defense, commander of the forces, heads of major administrations, departments and ministry services. Commands of associations and compounds deployed on liberated territories, and other officials were also involved in the meeting through video links.
Colonel-General Z. Hasanov analyzed the situation in recent days as a result of provocations of Armenian Armed Forces in the Kelbajar and Lachin sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border. The minister brought to the participants of the meeting of the task and instructions set by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev due to the operational situation.
Especially noting issues related to the organization of service and combat activities, the Minister of Defense instructed the command of military units deployed on the liberated territories to take decisive steps and immediate measures to curb the opponent’s provocations.
