President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the role of Turkish in providing security guarantees with the general secretary of NATO Mark Rutte.
The president wrote about this on the social network Telegram.
According to him, the president shared the details of the meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during which the parties examined the role of Turkey in providing security guarantees.
“In this process, Ukraine needs a wide representation of countries: Europe, including the UK, Turkey, and the USA,” Zelensky said.
The president said that during the conversation, Mark Rutte informed him about his meeting with General Kelllog.
He emphasized that important messages coincide with our goal to achieve a guaranteed world, and not just a temporary ceasefire. There should be confidence that in a few months or years Putin will not return with his war.
According to this information, the president and Secretary General also discussed future contacts with partners and coordinated further steps.
“Before any potential negotiations, all partners should clearly understand that the priority to achieve a long world is strong security guarantees,” he summed up.
