Ukraine needs global support from the whole world to carry out clearance, President Vladimir Zelensky said in an evening video message.
“Almost a third of our territory under danger due to unexploded shells. It is obvious that global support for the cleansing of our land from Russian mines,” he said.
In this regard, the head of state thanked the participants in the conference on humanitarian clearance in Ukraine, which took place in Croatia on October 11-12.
“Separately, I want to note the conference in Croatia, which took place this week about humanitarian clearance. More than 40 countries and international organizations announced new decisions on support in clearance. I thank every country that joined,” he said.
“At a time when the terror crawls around the world, it is important that the world gives the most unambiguous signal – that protection from terror does not weaken anywhere,” the president added.
