Ukraine is preparing to restore diplomatic relations with Syria, where the regime of President Bashar al -Assad was recently overthrown. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his Telegram.
“This year we can add countries to our reliable partners. In particular, Syria. We are preparing to restore diplomatic relations with Syria and the interaction of international organizations,” the Ukrainian leader wrote.
He added that Kyiv also intends to increase the volume of trade with Lebanon. “Now we have only $ 400 million of our agrarian exports with this country. And we are preparing to increase at least twice,” the president said.
