President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on Tuesday made an appeal to the Ukrainians against the background of the news about the invasion of the Russian Federation and after the recognition of Russia “LDNR”, reports UNIAN.
“Yesterday the Russian Federation recognized the independence of quasi formations at the temporary occupied territories of Ukraine. Today – ratified the so-called” agreements “and provided permission to the President of Russia for the use of the Armed Forces abroad. That is, in the Donbas. On the territory of Ukraine,” said Zelensky’s president.
“By this decision, Russia actually came out of the Minsk arrangements. Those who, according to her, had no alternative,” said Zelensky, emphasizing that for him the main thing – the preservation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Currently, issues of the summit of the leaders of the states – the permanent members of the UN Security Council, Ukraine, Turkey and Germany are being worked out. Most of the summit participants have already supported this initiative, in particular Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“I am also pleased that the partners show that there is no alternative to the introduction of sanctions,” the head of the Ukrainian state added.
