President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky criticized the attempts of German Chancellor Olaf Sholtsa “maintain balance” in relations between Kyiv and Moscow. The head of state said this in an interview with ZDF.
“He (Sholts) and his government should decide: there should be no attempts to maintain balance in relations between Ukraine and Russia,” Zelensky believes.
The President of Ukraine also called on the Chancellor to be more unambiguous in relations with Ukraine.
According to the head of state, the approach of Berlin, in which it is necessary to continue relations with Kyiv and Moscow so that this is as little as possible to Berlin, is erroneous.
Commenting on the possible arrival of Scholyts in Ukraine, Zelensky said that he should not be limited to photographs.
According to the president, the head of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany must announce during a visit to increase the support of Ukraine and the candidate status in the EU. Zelensky also hopes for tightening sanctions against Russia.
