President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held telephone conversations with the Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez and Lithuania President Gitanas Nauceda. The main topics of the conversation were the support of Ukraine, coordination of actions with allies and issues of European security.
During a conversation with Sanchez, Zelensky expressed gratitude to Spain for the support of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. He also spoke about a recent conversation with US President Donald Trump, noting that the dialogue was substantial and made clarity on many issues.
The President of Ukraine emphasized that Kyiv intends to intensify interaction with American partners, while increasing cooperation between allies in Europe. According to him, security is a common goal, and Spain remains an important partner of Ukraine in the political and diplomatic sphere. The parties also discussed the cooperation of Spain with the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine as part of the support of Ukrainians and strengthen ties between countries.
During negotiations with Lithuania President, Gitanas Nauceda Zelensky thanked Lithuania for the “unchanging” support of Ukraine. One of the key issues was the interaction of the allies in the context of the ongoing conflict. The President of Ukraine noted that Europe should play a full -fledged role in any negotiations on the end of the war, since the safety of the entire region depends on it.
