Zelensky excluded territorial concessions of Russia

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is ready to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In an interview with the Italian state television, RAI Zelensky also stated, the parties should “have an agreement”, without putting forward ultimatums as a condition.

In addition, the head of the Ukrainian state said that Ukraine never recognizes part of Russia Crimea annexed in 2014.

According to Zelensky, “Crimea has always had autonomy, he always had his own parliament, but as part of Ukraine,” Zelensky said.

“We want the Russian army to leave our land, we are not on the Russian land, – Zelensky answered. – We will not save Putin’s face, paying our territory. It would be unfair.”

At the same time, the President of Ukraine spoke about the prospects of relations with Russia: “We need to think about the future of Russia. I, as the president of Ukraine, say that these are our neighbors. There will be other presidents and other generations of Russians.”
