President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky notes that Ukraine at the front comes in wide steps because it does not control the sky.
The president said this during communication with representatives of the Baltic media in Riga.
“The situation at the front is very complicated. We do not have enough weapons. And if the Russians had not controlled the air, and we would have enough air defense systems – we would destroy their aircraft. We would simply destroy. We would try it – it works. When you destroy them in the sky – you go ahead. There are no wide steps forward in Ukraine because they control the sky, ”Zelensky emphasized.
The head of state added if Ukraine manages to unlock the sky – Ukraine will go forward.
“If we do not unlock the sky, we will be where we are now. They will prepare counterattacks … When?
