The Kremlin did not offer Ukraine a “short -term truce”, which was mentioned by Vladimir Zelensky, said the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Ermak, writes Politico.
“We did not have any official statements from the Russian side about some conversations, we did not have any negotiations,” said Yermak.
On Friday, Zelensky said that Russia is looking for a “short -term truce” to make up for its strength and regroup.
According to the publication, not so much Russia as “high -ranking officials of the United States and Europe pushing Ukraine to the peaceful settlement of the conflict started by Russia”.
