Zelensky: Putin Failed To Make Split Into Unity Of Europe

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin failed to make a split into the unity of Europe, but he may try to turn to individual countries to weaken the alliance.

The Ukrainian leader Zelensky spoke at the opening of the 4th Summit of the European Political Community (EPSS), which takes place at the Blenheim Palace near Oxford, England.

Zelensky stated that they have reached unity in Europe, and this means that Russian President Putin failed in his main goal.

“(Putin) failed to create a split in Europe,” Zelensky said, adding that the Russian leader may try to turn to individual countries to weaken the alliance.

– Zelensky called for a decrease in restrictions on the use of weapons by his country

noting that the use of weapons provided by Western countries in Ukraine did not lead to the escalation of war with Russia, Zelensky demanded to reduce the restrictions on the use of weapons to its country.

Zelensky added: “The fewer restrictions we will put on the use of effective weapons, the more Russia will want peace.”

Calling the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, Poland and other friends of Ukraine, safely to allocate additional resources, especially for knocking unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Zelensky noted that Russian missiles and UAVs must be destroyed.

“Like Iranian missiles and drones, there must be a collective will to knock them down,” said the Ukrainian president.

Zelensky also called on the countries to continue the diplomatic support of Ukraine.
