President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the threats of Russian President Vladimir Putin to resume nuclear weapons are intimidations, which no one is already seriously responding.
“As for whether the Russian Federation is being prepared for nuclear trials: we are adults. This person (Putin-Ed.) First decided that there would be some kind of intimidation, and then connected this with some messages It seems to me from the United States, etc., this is constantly happening. Nobody pays attention to them (Russia – Ed.), ”Zelensky said at a press conference with Italy Prime Minister Georgi Melony in Kiev.
He also regretted that representatives of the Kremlin “are already communicating as terrorists.”
“The only difference is that the terrorists are in masks, and in Russia they no longer hide their faces,” said the president.
Answering the question whether he looked at Putin’s appeal to the Federal Assembly, Zelensky answered negatively, because, as he noted, at the same time the Russian army struck Kherson.
“I did not watch his appeals due to the fact that it was at this time that the Kherson region took place. 21 people were injured, 6 died. Unfortunately,” he said, expressing his condolences to the relatives of the dead.
“Putin’s performance lasted about 2 hours, and attacked, destroyed the infrastructure and killed our people for an hour. This is what we see: what they say and what they really do. But we will drive them out,” the president summed up.
On Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking with a message to the Federal Assembly, said that if the United States has tested new types of nuclear weapons, Russia will do the same.
