President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky told the details of the final version of the agreement with the United States on minerals. He stated this during a briefing, local media reports.
Zelensky emphasized that in this version of the agreement, Ukraine is not a debtor.
“There is no 500 billion debt, nor 350, nor 100 in the agreement. It would be unfair to us. If we are talking about the fund, this is also a resolved issue in this framework agreement, then I believe that there are partners”, – said the head of state.
The Ukrainian leader said that Ukraine would not go “even to 10 cents” of the repayment of debt in an agreement with the United States. He explained that such a step would create a dangerous precedent.
“I will not go to 10 cents, if they are indicated as a debt. This is a new reality. It may be, everyone understands in which we are in the war. And we, I think, will not be able to choose” – The head of state noted.
