President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is ready for negotiations with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, but expressed confidence that Ukraine should achieve victory on the battlefield. The head of the Ukrainian state said this in an interview with Financial Times.
The ultimate goal of Kyiv is the de -capacity of all its international territories, Zelensky pointed out.
In his opinion, the retreat of Russian troops to the pre -war positions will only be a temporary victory. In this regard, according to the Ukrainian leader, it is important to support the West: weapons supply, sanctions policy against the Russian Federation.
At the same time, the West behaves prudently, supporting Ukraine, but trying not to suffer its business, the head of the Ukrainian state believes.
