Zelensky wanted to personally meet with Putin

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that if the “Normandy summit” to resolve the conflict in Donbass does not take place, he will find an opportunity to meet with each leader separately. RIA Novosti reports.

Zelenskiy also wants to hold bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France are participating in the “Normandy format”. The last talks between the leaders of the four countries took place in Paris on December 9, 2019. The meeting resulted in agreements on an exchange of detainees, a ceasefire and a separation of forces in three sections of the contact line.
