President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on the shelling of the Zaporizhzhya region, announced the need to “force Russia to the world.”
“The rescue operation continues in Zaporozhye. Russia struck the city, right at civilians,” he said.
According to the president, 13 people were killed as a result of the attack, another 32 were injured.
“It was a blow to the city, on ordinary people. An absolutely conscious blow of the Russian army. It again shows what Russia actually wants. They only want war and only victims. That is why not a single day should not be lost – you need to put pressure on Moscow, you need to force Russia to the world, you need to do everything you need to protect life and stop death, ”Zelensky said.
Meanwhile, the head of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, said that as a result of an air strike for Zaporozhye, the number of victims increased to 113.
“113 wounded, 10 of them in serious condition – these are the consequences of yesterday’s attack of Russians on Zaporozhye,” he wrote in a telegram.
According to him, 59 people are currently hospitalized, 10 of them are in serious condition.
