President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the whole world should put pressure on Russia in order to put it at the negotiating table, Ukrinform reports.
“This does not mean that all territories are conquered by force. I think that the power of diplomacy can help,” Zelensky noted in an interview with the Air Force.
Zelensky believes that “the weaker Russia on the battlefield will take the position of Ukraine at the negotiating table more strong”.
“by putting pressure on Russia, I think you can agree on a diplomatic settlement,” he said.
The head of the Ukrainian state also stated that the F-16 fighters promised by the Western countries have not yet arrived in Ukraine.
“18 months passed, and the planes have not yet reached us,” he said, and thanked for what has already been transferred to Ukraine.
According to him, new fighters are necessary in order to help Ukrainians overcome the “dominance of Russia in the air and unlock the sky”.
